Ready to improve the sustainability rating of your product? Whether you choose standard recycled HDPE plastic or EcoPrime™, our FDA-approved recycled plastic for food-grade packaging, you can be confident that your container will be a sustainable product.  In fact, Wal-Mart cites recycled HDPE as a preferred material when it comes to packaging.

How exactly is Envision Plastics’ recycled HDPE sustainable?  Envision Plastics’ recycled content HDPE replaces the usage of virgin resin and expensive colorants. According to the EPA data, recycled plastics account for far less environmental impact than their virgin counterparts.  In fact, there are studies that suggest recycled plastics have more than 25% less carbon/green house gas emissions than virgin resins. Looking to see what reduction in greenhouse gasses your company could boast by using Envision’s recycled HDPE? Use EPA’s Recycled Content Tool to calculate reduced emissions and energy use.

Reducing material reduces the load on your wallet and the environment. Envision Plastics’ recycled content HDPE removes the amount of material going into your packaging by reducing the amount of colorant you need to add.  If you use 25% Prisma™ color sorted resin, then you can expect to use 25% less colorant and boast a 25% post-consumer recycled content.
